TIAA toured this 100,000 sq. ft. building which holds over 30 aircraft and space vehicles including a full-size model of the 1903 Wright Flyer. Artifacts from the airship Hindenburg and other giant dirigibles are in one gallery. In the war gallery, scale models of military aircraft tell the stories of America’s major conflicts in the Aviation Age. The Apollo 7 spacecraft and the only moon rock on display in North Texas resided in another gallery along with a full-size reproduction of Sputnik I flying overhead.
