On March 8, 2024, a group of sixteen former Texas Instruments employees reunited for their monthly outing, bringing together memories of camaraderie and shared experiences. These individuals, who once worked at the same company, found themselves together, reminiscing about their time at the company and catching up on each other’s lives.
Their outing began with a nostalgic trip down memory lane as they met at Texas Instruments to embark on a journey with old and new friends. Gathering at the TI-sponsored bus, they made their way to Main St. Café in Lewisville, where they shared laughter and stories over a delicious meal. The sense of familiarity and warmth enveloped them as they exchanged updates on their careers and families.
Following lunch, the group embarked on a distillery tour and tasting at Bendt Distillery in Lewisville, adding a touch of adventure to their outing. Exploring the intricacies of whiskey-making, they marveled at the craftsmanship and history behind each bottle. As they sampled various spirits.
As the day drew to a close, the group boarded the bus back to Texas Instruments. Despite the passage of time and the paths they had taken since their days at TI, their connection remained unbreakable. This monthly outing served as a reminder of the enduring bonds formed during their time at the company and the value of friendship that transcends the workplace.
We always have the regulars that attend these outings but also have new folks join us on most outings. We are happy to hear everyone’s stories of their time at Texas Instruments and where life has taken them after TI.
