On Wednesday, December 6, 2023, Paul Westbrook, a TIer extraordinaire, presented a comprehensive evaluation of today’s solar energy utilization. Solar photovoltaic (PV) energy is now the cheapest source of electricity. Before going into the financials, he explained the basics of the science behind it and how to properly size a system. He also showed a mock-up of the house he designed in 1996 using passive solar technology to the max. He finished by mentioning solar system installers well reviewed by customers he has known. Paul’s delivery and the minutiae of the program kept the audience’s attention at a high level throughout. The event ended with the signing of Paul’s book – The Joy of Efficiency. Well done. Paul!
