TI Retiree Luncheon - 2019
You are invitred to the Annual Retiree Luncheon "Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of TIAA" Thursday, November 14, 2019, 9:30am to 2:30pm at the Mesquite Convention Center 1700 Rodeo Drive, Mesquite TX 75149. Advance registration is $15 per person (or pay $25 at the door). Buses will be available at no charge for those who prefer not to drive. You can now make your online reservation by following the enclosed instructions. Buses will board at Texins Fitness Center at the Expressway site at 9:15am. Regular parking and handicapped parking will be availabe for those who prefer to drive. Our speaker, Peter Balyta, will give an update on recent TI business results and highlight TI's focus on STEM education. Peter is VP Academic Engagement & Corporate Citizenship. He is also President of TI's Education Technology Business. We will also celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the UT Dallas, with presentations highighting the growth of the university and progress in biomedical research. There will also be an opportunity to help replenish backpacks with school supplies for students in TI's STEM program working with active TIers who will be attending the event. See enclosed details of items which may be donated for the backpacks. Visit with your TI friends and collegues, enjoy coffee and cookies and see exhibit booths, and join us for a delicious BBQ or vegetarian plate, which will be served banquet style at a sit-down lunch, which begins at 11:30am.
