Have you ever changed a person’s life in a single day? The Texas Ramp Project does it hundreds of times a year! They build wheelchair ramps for disabled or elderly people who can’t afford to buy one. In a few hours in a morning, they give these folks the freedom to leave their home again—the home where they want to remain but whose steps have imprisoned them.

Please meet by 9:00 am at an assigned location (those wo sign  up will be notified of the address) by private vehicle on Thursday, April 27, 2017 (a Senior Source van will not be available for this event’s transportation).  Volunteers will assist in the construction of a custom-made ramp - no construction skills required!  Afterwards, we will have lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense).
