TIAA Annual Meeting

TIAA Virtual Annual Meeting to Take Place May 20

You are invited to attend the virtual TIAA Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 20, at 1:00 p.m. using Zoom. The purpose of the meeting is to elect officers for our association. In addition, there will be an overview of the TIAA by our President, Debi Heaton. Terri West, a recent retiree and Chair of the TI Foundation, will give an update on United Way and the TI Foundation’s matching program.

The Nominating Committee will submit a report at the meeting recommending officers for the term: July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. The nominations are as follows: President: Debi Heaton; Executive VP: Nancy Little; Treasurer: Shyamal Parikh; and Secretary: Mary Helmick. The president will open the meeting for any other nominations and ask for a vote by members who are present on the call.

Members can register for the May 20th meeting by clicking here after logging in at the TIAA website. Specific details on how to join the Zoom meeting (by either PC, iPad, Smartphone, or regular phone) will be emailed to those who have registered for the meeting one to two days prior to the event. For those who do not have access to the Internet, call our TIAA office at 214-567-8444 and leave your name and phone number in order to register for the meeting.

As you know, because of the Coronavirus pandemic, earlier last year we had to cancel all in-person meetings and activities. We are looking forward to the time we can resume our usual activities. In the meantime, we will keep our membership informed by eNote.
