On May 11, thirteen of us donned our red, Texas Instruments visor caps and rode a bus to watch the Texas Rangers beat the Chicago White Sox (7-6). It was Dollar Hot Dog Day, making good munching as we sat in covered seats on the third level and enjoyed a great view of the field. After the game, we found an extra passenger waiting for us on the bus –an elderly, nice–looking gentleman (one of the ladies in our group wantedto take him home) who explained that he came on a white bus and he thought it looked like ours. We escorted him across the street and to the corner where the white shuttle buses run every few minutes, but he certainly looked wistful as we waved goodbye and drove off. Not only did the Rangers beat the White Sox, we beat the rain going back to TI so it was a good day all around.
