Members and one guest are invited to join us for the 2018 TIAA Annual Meeting. It will be held on Thursday, May 17, at 1:00 pm at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden (in Rosine Hall, which is near the entrance), 8525 Garland Rd, Dallas TX. Refreshments will be provided by TI, and a bus will leave at 12:30 pm from the Texins Activity Center on the Dallas Expressway site. Parking will be available in the Arboretum lot or their new parking garage for those who wish to drive. Buses will leave the Arboretum at 4:00pm. Terri West, recently retired TI Senior Vice President and now with the TI Foundation, will be our featured speaker.
The TIAA Nominating Committee is recommending the following as officers for TIAA for the next year, beginning July 1: Debi Heaton, President; Margaret Breedijk, Executive VP; David Reid, Treasurer; and Kate Rose, Secretary. Following the business meeting to elect officers, you will have a chance to enjoy the Arboretum in full bloom as well as see the special kinetic sculptures exhibit now open.
Admission, parking, and bus transportation are all free with your TI badge or the green postcard invitation that was mailed to you earlier in April. (Please note there is an extra charge to visit the Children’s Garden.) Former TIers may join our organization or renew their TIAA membership at the meeting if it has already expired.
