TIAA volunteers took a Senior Source bus to the Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) headquarters on Mockingbird Lane to participate in the organization’s annual gift-wrap program for the seventh year in a row. We grabbed scissors, tape, and wrapping paper and then immediately went to work. The VNA folks provided boxes of toiletries including soap, hand lotion, toothpaste and toothbrushes, socks, and many other items for us to wrap. Once wrapped, the items were placed in boxes to be delivered on Christmas Day to over 4,000 Meals-on-Wheels’ clients. Our TIAA volunteers always enjoy this special event and are happy our work is appreciated by needy VNA clients.
