How to join the Zoom meeting:

Please note that this is the first time TIAA is conducting an Annual Meeting via Zoom, so there may be a few rough edges, please be patient.
Here are a few notes regarding the meeting:
Participants will be able to hear and see; they themselves will NOT be seen.
Those joining the meeting on a device with a screen will be able to see presenters and presentations. Those without a screen will be able to hear the audio of the meeting.
After the presentations we will have the election of officers for the term: July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. The nominating committee is recommending: President: Debi Heaton; Executive VP: Margaret Breedijk; Treasurer: Shyamal Parikh, and Secretary: Kate Rose.
At the point in the meeting when voting will take place, TIAA members will be prompted to unmute their microphones. After everyone has unmuted, the President will ask if there are any nominations from the floor. Then, as is our tradition, a voice vote will then be taken.
If you are not familiar with Zoom, we recommend that prior to the meeting you practice, using the device you will be using for the meeting. You can do that by clicking on this link: https://zoom.us/test
If you are on a PC, click on “Join” on the first page, and “join from your browser” on the second page.
During your test please be sure to locate the “unmute” button in the Zoom application. During the meeting you will need to unmute yourself so that your voice vote can be heard.
Finally, please plan to join the call a few minutes early to help things go smoothly.
