TI Invites Retirees to Join in Ukraine Humanitarian Relief

The TI Foundation has contributed $25,000 to the American Red Cross for Ukraine humanitarian relief and will double donations by U.S.-based TI employees and retirees through its matching gifts program.

If you wish to donate, please visit: www.redcross.org/donate/cm/ti-emp.html/ to make your donation.

Retirees may request a match at: http://getinvolved.ti.com/

Note: It is recommended that you select the American Red Cross in Washington, D.C. when requesting the match, although any of the chapters will qualify. Be sure to type

“Ukraine relief fund” in the designation field.

The eight-year political conflict in Ukraine has become the biggest humanitarian crisis in Europe since World War II, and with the recent spread of military hostilities in the country, the humanitarian crisis is now more dire. The International Committee of the Red Cross — together with its partners in the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement — remains active in Ukraine. Its neutral humanitarian action is addressing the enormous humanitarian need.

Contributions to relief funds will allow Red Cross workers and volunteers in Ukraine and surrounding countries to provide aid, including safe drinking water, food, hygiene parcels, blankets, and assistance with evacuating residents with disabilities. Red Cross teams are also providing first aid training to civilians who are seeking safety in metro stations, bomb shelters and other underground areas.
