On May 10 twenty-one TIAA members hopped on a bus to Arlington and attended a Texas Rangers vs San Diego Padres baseball game — plus we availed ourselves of the promotional $1 hotdog night for dinner. The Ranger's ace pitcher, Yu Darvish, happened to be on the mound (it's always fun to watch him work), the big, bad storms passed us by with a lot of wind but without a drop of rain and the Rangers won 4-3 after three hours and 42 minutes and four pitcher changes! (Yes, of course, we were late getting back to TI but had no trouble getting on the TI site this time.) It was a very enjoyable evening!
