TI retirees and a guest were invited to a special event at the new location of the North Texas Food Bank in Plano, Texas. As part of the TIAA United Way Campaign, TI made it possible for us to tour the new facility, enjoy lunch and help with a volunteer project while on site.
We had a chance to hear comments from Trisha Cunningham, a TI retiree, who is now President and CEO of the North Texas Food Bank as well as Kevin and Carol March, who are heading the TIAA United Way Campaign this year. Lunch was provided by TI with buses running from the Texans Activity Center to the new NTFB location for those who preferred not to drive. Over twenty of us were able to join this fun and educational event – one that will greatly benefit our community.
