The Network of Community Ministries responds to human need by giving assistance with the goal of helping individuals achieve long-term independence. Its mission is “caring, coaching and empowering neighbors in need as they seek an improved quality of life.” Their services, over 14 zip codes, include Emergency (providing food, shelter, clothing and utility services); Adolescent and Children's Clinic (meeting acute care and dental needs to uninsured children) and Seniors' Net (providing those 60+ with the right resources to live independently in their own homes). TIAA members volunteered to help this worthwhile cause on August 28, 2014.
