Let’s jump on a bus to see the world-class Fort Worth Zoo that features natural habitat exhibits where visitors are only separated from the animals by a river or pane of glass. Founded in 1909, this is the oldest continuous zoo site in Texas and is known for its conservation programs that rank among the most respected in the world.  With over 7000 animal and hands-on interactive features this trip is an outstanding attraction.  (For those that wish, a limited number of complimentary wheelchairs are available.  To use these items, you must present a valid driver’s license.) We will leave at 9:30 am, wander around the zoo at your leisure, leave for Old Neighborhood Grill to enjoy lunch together (bring lunch money) around 1:00 pm, and return at 3:30 pm.  Cost for members is $15 and nonmembers $17.
