Wilkinson Center is a dynamic service provider for families struggling to escape poverty, providing services throughout Dallas County, with a focus in East and Southeast Dallas including Pleasant Grove. Wilkinson Center’s vision is to eliminate generational poverty by addressing clients’ most significant issues: basic human necessities (food and shelter), education and employment.
Please join us at the Texins Fitness Center to board a Senior Source bus at 8:30 am. TIAA volunteers will help stock the food pantry and help clients with their food selections. Afterwards, we will have lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense) and arrive back to the Texins Fitness Center around 1:30 pm. Please register online for this event. We need all to register in order to have sufficient transportation for all.
Important – Covid19 safety requirements apply. Must be vaccinated to ride the Senior Source van. Venue requires volunteers to wear mask and social distance as possible.
