Volunteers will assist the Computers for the Blind organization in performing simple tasks to configure donated computers with software and hardware in order to allow blind clients to hear computer information and become proficient in “reading” e-mails, internet information, and financial transactions.
Please join us at the Computers for the Blind headquarters at 9:00 am. We will not have transportation for this event as it is located approximately one mile north of the TI Expressway site. Those wishing to join us for lunch may do so at a local restaurant (at our own expense). We should be able to conclude our volunteer services for CFTB and lunch by approximately 1:00 pm.
