WE JUST GOT WORD THAT VNA HAS CANCELLED THIS EVENT
This event has always been a favorite of TIAA volunteers as we will wrap toiletries which will be included in Meals on Wheels client food delivery sacks on Christmas Day. Note that this is a late afternoon event. Please join us at the Texins Fitness Center to board a Senior Source bus at 3:30 pm. Volunteers will wrap gifts that are delivered to Meals On Wheels’ recipients along with their regular meal delivery on Christmas Day. We will arrive back to the Texins Fitness Center around 7:30 pm. Please register online for this event. We need all to register in order to have sufficient transportation for all.
Please note that Covid-19 protocol will be required on the transportation van and at the volunteer venues (normal temperature range, wear a mask, sanitize hands, socially distance as able, etc.). Most venues require volunteers to sign forms attesting to Covid-19 free symptoms.
