The mission of Metrocrest Services is to provide programs for individuals, families and seniors that lead to self-sufficiency and foster independence. These core values guide their day-to-day operations and long-term plans:

  • Provide encouragement, hope, and a path to independence delivered with dignity and respect
  • Be a rewarding place to work for individuals who are well-trained, experienced, professional and compassionate
  • Attract and retain volunteers who are dedicated and committed to serving their neighbors in need

We will work in the Metrocrest food pantry distribution center.  Our work day will be similar to the Wilkinson event as we will restock food shelves and fill client’s grocery carts with food items.

Please join us at the Texins Fitness Center to board a Senior Source bus at 8:30 am.  Afterwards, we will have lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense) and arrive back to the Texins Fitness Center around 1:30 pm.  Please register online for this event. We need all to register in order to have sufficient transportation for all.

Please note that Covid-19 protocol will be required on the transportation van and at the volunteer venues (normal temperature range, wear a mask, sanitize hands, socially distance as able, etc.).  Most venues require volunteers to sign forms attesting to Covid-19 free symptoms.
