Crossroads Community Services is located off Cockrell Hill Road, which is the former location of the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB). From their new 75,000 sq. ft. home, they are serving as the southern regional hub for NTFB and expanding their food distribution program.
On average, a family of four receives 100 pounds of groceries when they visit Crossroads pantry or one of our CDP sites. Typically, CCS distributes 2.25 million pounds of food to approximately 12,000 unduplicated individuals, which translates into roughly 1,900,000 meals and a market value savings to their clients of $4.6 million each year!
Please join us at the Texins Fitness Center to board a Senior Source bus at 8:30 am. Afterwards, we will have lunch at a local restaurant (at our own expense) and arrive back to the Texins Fitness Center by approximately 1:30 pm. Please register online for this event.
