The Peach Capital of Texas is celebrating the 35th Annual Parker County Peach Festival in downtown Weatherford so let’s go! They have more than 200 Arts, Craft, Food and Activity vendors. You will be able to get your fill of homemade peach ice cream, peach cobbler, peach pie, peach juleps, peach tea, peach smoothies or just plain ol' juicy peaches to bring home. There will also be two stages with non-stop entertainment for the entire family. And you don't want to miss the food competition, which has quickly become a local favorite! Many antique and specialty shops will have specials throughout the day, so be sure and visit downtown merchants. Children's area will have a train ride, face painting, bounce houses, and other activities. We will ride a bus from TI and leave at 9:00 am and return around 4:00 pm. Cost is $10 for members and $11 for nonmembers.
