Thursday, March 7, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Cedar Hill. Ride with us as we leave at 9:00 a.m., enjoy a guided tour at 9:30 to learn about this 205 acre pristine forest ecosystem and have time to sit at a bird viewing area with lots of bird feeders. This is a wild and special place where plant species from North, South, East, and West mingle together, attracting birds and other animals. You will have time to explore the nature and views of Dogwood Canyon as you enjoy a quiet 30-minute self-guided hike through this area’s beautiful escarpment forest. Bring cameras, binoculars and a jacket and wear comfortable walking shoes. We will eat at Matt's El Rancho  in Cedar Hill at noon (at our own expense) and return by 2:00 p.m.  Cost is $10 for members and $11 for nonmembers.
