Calling all gearheads who rode motorcycles in their younger days or those that wish they had! A new museum just opened in the Dallas Design District and it displays 140 special motorcycles spanning 12 decades. Some of these bikes cost in the six figures and sit on mirrors so the undercarriages can be easily viewed. One of them is the Shogun with Japanese and Samurai engravings “tattooed” into its chrome and entitled “the most badass bike on Earth.” There are also several three-wheeled bikes which, contrary to popular belief, are harder to ride than the two-wheeled ones. We will board a bus at 10:00 am, tour the museum until 11:30, eat lunch (on our own) at the Slow Bone BBQ and return around 2:30 pm. Cost is $12 per member or $14 for nonmember.
