Did you know there's a new professional sports team in town called the Dallas Rattlers who play lacrosse (or "the stick" in French)? They just moved here from Rochester, NY, are part of the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) organization, play in the air-conditioned Ford Center at The STAR stadium in Frisco, average almost 4,000 attendees/game and have won five out of seven games so far this year. So, let's go watch these young men in shorts who are carrying either a long or a short stick (depending on their position) with a head (scoop) on it run, carry, pass, catch, and shoot a hard rubber ball into the goal for 60 minutes.  In our event the Dallas Rattlers are playing the Charlotte Hounds at 3:30 pm on July 7. Our bus will leave Texins Activity Center on the Expressway site at 2:30 pm, enjoy the game, eat dinner in Frisco (on our own) and get back to TI around 7:00.  The cost is $25 for members and $28 for nonmembers.
