This is a two-for-one trip!  Never have we seen a train exhibit approaching the size and scope of the one that was donated to the Frisco Discovery Center by the Sanders family of Dallas – they plan a grand opening in June so let’s go fix that fact! Valued at more than $1 million, the G-scale model layout spans more than 2,500 square feet with multiple  trains running on different tracks. All of the little pieces that bring the scenes to life — from the woman in a blue dress with her luggage to the guy hauling a crate of Spud King potatoes — are in place.   After lunch we will visit the National Videogame Museum. If you lived through the years when you placed a quarter in the slot, you'll instantly remember the sights and sounds of this arcade. All attendees get four NVM tokens upon admission. We will leave at Texin's Activity Center on the Expressway site at 10 am, view the train exhibit, eat at Rudy's Country BBQ Store in Frisco (on your own), visit the National Videogame Museum in the afternoon and return about 3:00 pm. Cost will be $22 for members and $25 for nonmembers. Please register early so we can reserve the right-sized bus.
