During World War II thousands of British, Royal Air Force and American Army pilots earned their wings at six civilian training schools in the United States — the first and largest of the schools being in Terrell, TX, between 1941-1945.  Let’s go visit this little known chapter of WWII history and see hundreds of historical items, WWII memorabilia and uniforms.  We will leave at 9 am, tour the museum at 10, eat lunch at the Blessings Restaurant at 11:30, visit Buc-ee’s at 2 (the truck stop/gas station that is an actual destination instead of a stop) returning to TI around 3.  Cost will be $20 for members and $22 for nonmembers.
