“9-to-5, The Musical”, Granbury. This musical is based on the 1980 movie of the same name which was derived from a book by Patricia Resnick. It has received multiple awards and follows a hilarious turn of events as Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest dream — giving their boss the boot! While he remains "otherwise engaged," the women give their workplace a makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down. (Hey, a girl can scheme, can’t she?) We will leave on a bus at 10:00 am, eat lunch in Granbury (on our own) in one of the restaurants on the square, shop a little and then attend the matinee at 2:00 pm. We should be back around 5:30 and the cost will be $25 for members and $28 for nonmembers.
