For more than 50 years, the world's best agricultural aircraft have been manufactured in the small west Texas town of Olney. Air Tractor produces an extensive product line of ag aircraft (with eight models in current production) and there are more Air Tractor aircraft spraying crops than any other brand. Whether the job is spraying, seeding, fertilizing, or firefighting, Air Tractor is on the job so let’s go see how these planes are built. We will hop on an Echo bus and leave TI at 9 am, enjoy the 2 hour ride to Jacksboro, eat at the Green Frog Restaurant (so bring lunch money), travel 30 minutes to Olney, tour Air Tractor at 1 pm and return to TI around 5 pm. Air plane hangars are large so wear comfortable shoes. Cost for transportation will be $15 for members and $17 for nonmembers.
