TI and TIAA volunteers needed to deliver 1000+ meals to needy North Texans December 1st
For the third consecutive year, TI is partnering with the Visiting Nurses Association (VNA), a United Way agency, to deliver Meals on Wheels to home-bound, elderly and disabled North Texans who are unable to access resources like food banks and grocery stores.
On December 1st, more than 400 TI volunteers are needed to participate in the meal deliveries. Volunteer teams will gather at TI site (North Campus ) to pick up and deliver more than 1,000 meals to people in need across our community.
“This is the largest annual single-day volunteer event for TI,” said Terri Grosh, TI worldwide employee engagement manager. “We are asking for at least 150 TI and TIAA volunteers to serve as team captains and recruit others to join them in delivering meals. It’s great the way every year we come together as a company to make a difference and give back to those in our community who are less fortunate.”
