Would you like to be a volunteer at the Texas Discovery Gardens? If they offered you a free T-shirt, free parking, a free Texas State Fair ticket, and a 10% discount in their gift store – all for volunteering only 3-1/2 hours at the facility during the State Fair – would you sign up? That's over $40 worth of benefits just for working one shift either in the morning, early afternoon or late afternoon. The Texas Discovery Gardens is looking for individuals or groups to volunteer during the Texas State Fair on any day between September 25 and October 18 to work in the beauty of the Butterfly House, the outdoor gardens, or within the facility as a greeter or gift store helper.
