Yes, this city offers a variety of attractions and entertainment activities that will create an unforgettable visit for TIAA members. We will spend two nights at the historic Skirvin Hilton Hotel in downtown OKC which was first opened in 1911, was renovated in 2007 and still boasts of the original architecture. Here are our plans and how to join us:

(This makes you eligible for room discounts, free wi-fi, etc.) Call 1-405-272-3040, or use their mobile app, and register for a room at the hotel for May 3 and 4, 2017. (Right now the rate is $149/night for May 3-4 but it may change.) Click Event Registration Page below and register with TIAA so we can keep you appraised of any changes to the trip.
Our proposed itinerary (of course, you may deviate from this if you wish) will be:
MAY 3
Drive to OKC on your own or carpool and check into the Skirvin (check in begins at 3pm). Meet to have a glass of wine (each couple brings one bottle) around 5 pm in an area TBD in the hotel. We will eat dinner at Blu’s BBQ (a National Park Ranger said it is one of the best in the area) at 6pm and then visit the OKC Outdoor Symbolic Memorial which honors the victims, survivors, and rescuers of that attack. There is no admission charge but be sure to bring your camera.
MAY4
Meet at the hotel’s Park Avenue Grill (breakfast buffet or order from a menu) at 9am to eat and then visit the OKC National Monument Museum in the morning to understand the story of April 19, 1995, and it’s impact. (Senior admission is $12.) Look around OKC on your own until 5 pm when we meet for another happy hour at the hotel. We will eat at the Bricktown Brewery in Bricktown at 6pm and then ride the Bricktown Canal water taxi (costs $9/senior for an all-day pass and a 30 minute ride) and walk back to the hotel.
MAY 5
Meet at a place TBD at 9 am for breakfast, check out of the hotel, visit the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum (senior admission is $9.75) until you want to head home.
