Share your interest and enthusiasm about gardening while you learn more about plants and insects by volunteering at Texas Discovery Gardens, located within Fair Park, Dallas, Tx. Volunteers usually help teach school children, work with plant propagation, and assist with office tasks, marketing and PR.
Our volunteer event will be to help the Texas Discovery Garden prepare for the annual Texas State Fair of Texas extravaganza. There will be many fun activities involving light duty assistance and you will be among the first to view the beauty of the Texas Discovery Garden before the State Fair of Texas begins on September 25.
We will board a Senior Source van at the Texins Activity Center at 8:30 and be transported to Fair Park’s Texas Discovery Garden. Afterwards, we will have lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense) and arrive back to the Texins Activity Center by 1:30 pm. Please register for this event below.
