All of CitySquare’s programs, and the neighbors they serve, are helped directly or indirectly through their Thrift Store. Donations of clothing, household items, furniture, electronics, and other items are either sold to raise money for their programs, or go directly to their neighbors when a need is identified. Each year the Thrift Store celebrates “Christmas in July”.
Please join us at the Texins Activity Center to board a Senior Source bus at 8:30 am. Volunteers decorate the store’s lobby with holiday items that are for sale – this is always a very popular event! It makes July just a little bit cooler. Afterwards, we will have lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense) and arrive back to the Texins Activity Center by 1:30 pm.
