Attend the great State Fair of Texas for free with your ticket to The Lion King, visit the newly renovated Big Tex and enjoy an outstanding production. Back by popular demand is the breathtaking spectacle of animals brought to life and whose visual images for this show you'll remember forever. Thrill to the pulsating rhythms of the African Pridelands and an unforgettable score including "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" and "Circle of Life." The tale follows the epic adventures of a young lion cub named Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destined role as king of the jungle. Drive or take DART light rail to Fair Park. (State Fair Parking is $15; DART Senior Day Pass is $2.50). If traveling by DART, take the Red or Blue line to Pearl Station, transfer to the Green line (MLK) and get off at Fair Park just a half block from the Music Hall. Spend as much or as little time as you want at the Texas State Fair and then meet us at the Music Hall for the 1:30 p.m. show. Ticket prices are $60 per member and $66 per nonmember.
