Maximizing 2017 Contributions

Dec 12, 2016

You can maximize your 2017 contributions of time and money through TI Foundation’s Matching Gifts (MG) and Volunteer Incentive Programs (VIP) when you submit your gifts. It’s easy for U.S.-based TI retirees to make an even bigger difference in our communities through these programs. You can get more information and submit your contributions of money and time to benefit eligible nonprofits at getinvolved.ti.com.

Matching Gifts

U.S. employees’ and retirees’ contributions from $25 up to as much as $10,000 per year will be matched to eligible arts and culture groups and to schools, universities or other educational institutions in the U.S. or its territories.  The maximum match is $20,000 per year ($10,000 to education and $10,000 to arts and culture.)

Volunteer Incentive Program

With a minimum of 10 volunteer hours with each eligible agency, you can request a VIP grant for $125 to that group. Plus, if you volunteer more than 10 hours with that organization, every hour is matched at $12.50 per hour. TI employees and retirees in the U.S. can match up to 80 volunteer hours per calendar year, earning up to $1,000 per year in grants to their favorite nonprofit agencies.

Eligible groups for the VIP match are nonprofit, charitable organizations and preK-12 schools, colleges and universities in the U.S. or its territories.
