You can maximize your 2017 contributions of time and money through TI Foundation’s Matching Gifts (MG) and Volunteer Incentive Programs (VIP) when you submit your gifts. It’s easy for U.S.-based TI retirees to make an even bigger difference in our communities through these programs. Matching Gifts
U.S. employees’ and retirees’ contributions from $25 up to as much as $10,000 per year will be matched to eligible arts and culture groups and to schools, universities or other educational institutions in the U.S. or its territories. The maximum match is $20,000 per year ($10,000 to education and $10,000 to arts and culture.)
Volunteer Incentive Program
With a minimum of 10 volunteer hours with each eligible agency, you can request a VIP grant for $125 to that group. Plus, if you volunteer more than 10 hours with that organization, every hour is matched at $12.50 per hour. TI employees and retirees in the U.S. can match up to 80 volunteer hours per calendar year, earning up to $1,000 per year in grants to their favorite nonprofit agencies.
Eligible groups for the VIP match are nonprofit, charitable organizations and preK-12 schools, colleges and universities in the U.S. or its territories.
