TI friends and colleagues got together at the annual TI Retiree Luncheon on Tuesday, November 18 at the Mesquite Convention Center.
A special display from the TI archives commemorated Jack Kilby's invention of the integrated circuit. He successfully demonstrated the IC prototype at TI on Sept. 12, 1958.
The TI artifacts also included the TIAC 827 digital seismic computer that GSI used in its United Kingdom data processing center.
Ed Millis' book, Jack St. Clair Kilby: A Man of Few Words, was available for purchase.
More than 20 Legend Sponsors and non-profit organizations had booths in the exhibit area.
