Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP)

TI's Foundation funds VIP

TI employees and retirees in the U.S.. can match the volunteer hours they give to charitable organizations with a monetary donation from the TI Foundation.

By participating in the TI Foundation Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP), retirees can request a matching contribution from the TI Foundation of $125 to an eligible nonprofit organization for every 10 hours volunteered, up to $1,000 per year. Eligible organizations are nonprofit, charitable organizations and K-12 schools, colleges and universities in the U.S.. or its territories.  Note:  the minimum number of hours has been reduced to ten.

“We are excited to offer this new volunteer program, which many TIers have requested,” said Andy Smith, Executive Director, TI Foundation.

“In addition to helping direct TI Foundation dollars to those nonprofit organizations that employees and retirees care about the most, this program gives employees the opportunity to boost the positive impact they make when they volunteer their time to support their local communities.”

Register your volunteer hours at GetInvolved – DEADLINES HAVE CHANGED.  The TI Foundation VIP operates on a calendar year (January 1 through December 31). Final submission of grant requests must be made by January 31 of the following year.  Contributions must be confirmed by the receiving nonprofit organization by the last day of February of the following year.
