The enrollment period for under-65 retirees to change their TI health insurance for 2017 is November 1 through 15. The period for over-65 retirees to change their health insurance through OneExchange for 2017 extends from October 15 through December 7.
More TI retirees attended the two sessions of the Health Benefits Seminar at Plano Centre than have attended any previous TIAA seminar. There were 115 pre-medicare retirees at the morning session and a whopping 650 Medicage-eligible retirees at the afternoon session
Speakers at the pre-Medicare session were Terri Murphy, TI Health Benefits Manager; Dr. Kevin Soder, TI Consulting Medical Director; Gene Wickes, oneExchange President; and David Carter, OneExchange Benefits Advisor. At the Medicare-eligible session, the speakers wer Neisha Strambler-Butler, TI Global Benefits Director; Gene Wickes; David Carter; and Dr. Kevin Soder. The presentatiions were followed by question-and-answer sessions and were well received by the attendees.
