The Stewpot
1818 Corsicana Street
Dallas, TX 75226
The Stewpot offers a safe haven for homeless and at-risk individuals of Dallas, providing resources for basic survival needs, as well as opportunities to start a new life. Since its inception in 1975, The Stewpot has provided food for those who needed it. What started as bowls of soup in the church basement now includes 3 meals a day, every day of the year with our partnership at The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center. By giving your time, talent, and treasure to The Stewpot, you can help our Dallas neighbors who are unhoused and living in poverty build better futures for themselves.
TIAA volunteers will serve lunch at The Stewpot’s Second Chance Café on the campus of our partner agency, The Bridge.
Please join us at the Texins Fitness Center to board a Senior Source bus at 10:45 am June 29, 2026. Afterwards, we will have lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense) and arrive back to the Texins Fitness Center by 2:30 pm. Please register your attendance by logging onto TIAlumni.org and click on the event’s name from the “Calendar” tab then fill out your registration information.
Also, if you have not volunteered with TIAA in the past 12 months, please complete the volunteer form for our partner Senior Source at the following link PRIOR TO VOLUNTEER DATE. Thank you. https://www.tfaforms.com/4804645
