The Meadows Health & Rehab Ctr – Bingo

The Meadows Health & Rehab would love for five, six, or more volunteers to host Bingo and provide about 25 unwrapped prizes, if able. Ms. Wingo, Activity Director, will be our host and she already has the Bingo game equipment/supplies for the volunteers to use. Attached is a list of suggested prizes for your consideration as well as tips for visiting in a nursing home to share with the volunteers.
Please join us at the Texins Fitness Center to board a Senior Source bus at 9:30 am. Our event begins at 10:00 am and ends at 11:30. Afterwards, we will have lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense) and arrive back to the Texins Fitness Center around 1:30 pm. Please register online for this event. We need all to register in order to have sufficient transportation for all.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING: Anything Aerosol, Alcoholic Beverages, Nail Clippers, Razors/Razor blades, scissors, Glass or Ceramic items, Potpourri, Wick Candles
Note: Please be aware that some residents are diabetic, or some may have swallowing issues. Before distributing prizes, food, beverages, or snacks please check with activity director or nursing staff for guidance.
Photo policy: Residents must have signed photo release forms on file. Ms. Wingo will provide guidance. Healthcare policy: Many facilities have relaxed their COVID-19 healthcare protocols whereby face masks are optional. However, these protocols vary per facility and are subject to change at any time. Note: If a volunteer has a cold or the flu, avoid visiting at the facility until no longer contagious.
