Dallas Arboretum
Friday, April 14, 2023 – 8:30 am
The Dallas Arboretum has been listed among the top arboretums in the world and the number of honors is so extensive it is listed on their website. The Dallas Arboretum is proud to offer the public an array of popular annual events, educational programs for children and adults, and an emphasis on family-oriented activities. Ground-breaking horticultural research conducted in our Trial Gardens continues to contribute to an important body of knowledge, both regionally and nationally. Located on the shores of White Rock Lake, the Arboretum’s 66 acres include a complete life science laboratory with endless potential for discovery.
Our TIAA volunteers will assist the Arboretum in welcoming guests to the Children’s Garden (indoors and outdoors) and assist in Educational Galleries (indoors) as well as, answering questions, guiding people to various parts of the facility, and simply making guests feel welcome on the grounds. Please join us at the Texins Fitness Center to board a Senior Source bus at 8:30 am. Afterwards, we will have lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense) and arrive back to the Texins Fitness Center by 1:30 pm. Please register online for this event. We need all to register in order to have sufficient transportation for all.
