United Way Benefit: The TI Jazz Band Mardi Gras Celebration

The 18-piece Texas Instruments Jazz Band will perform a benefit concert with all proceeds going to the United Way. The band will performing a variety of music, including a number of vocal charts. The TI Jazz Band was formed at Texas Instruments in 1986 and has performed at hundreds of events over the past 33 years. Texas Instruments Facilities organized the concert as one of their UW fundraising events.

No Cover Charge

Join the TI Jazz Band as they celebrate Mardi Gras with the music of Mardi Gras, Carnival, and New Orleans. The band will perform at Killarney’s Live in Fairview (between Allen and McKinney). There is no cover charge, so bring the family out for a fun concert. Killarney’s is a restaurant and pub, so you can eat and drink while you enjoy the music. The TI Jazz Band is a full 18-piece big band formed in 1986. The band is a non-profit organized through the Texins Association at Texas Instruments.

Members of the TI Alumni Association and three guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary, exclusive pre-concert dessert reception and performance by the world-acclaimed  Dallas Symphony Orchestra (DSO) on Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, 2301 Flora Street, in downtown Dallas. The reception begins at 6 p.m., followed by the performance at 7:30 p.m.
