March’s TIAA Community Involvement volunteer event was held at “The Family Place” Resale Shop located on Marsh Lane in NW Dallas. Ten TIAA volunteers boarded The Senior Source’s van to be transported to and from the store. We enjoyed the many tasks our resale store staff members prepared for us including sorting men’s and women’s clothes onto display racks, placing price tags onto jewelry for sale, stocking books, CD’s and DVD’s into display cases, and helping the staff tidy up the sales area item displays and clothing racks. The staff greatly appreciated our assistance and the shop looked amazing by the time we finished our tasks.
