The Annual TI/TIAA Charity Golf Tournament was held at the Waterview Golf Club in Rowlett, on April 27. The tournament, which serves as a kick-off to the TI United Way Campaign, raised $27,700 in donations and TI Foundation matches to benefit The Senior Source and the United Way of Dallas. TI and the Texans Credit Union were underwriters for the tournament, making it possible for 100 percent of the donations to go directly to the non-profit agencies. TI golfers benefited the United Way, while the TIAA golfers and corporate sponsors benefited The Senior Source.
Caroline Marak, Chief Development Officer of The Senior Source, thanked golfers and donors for their contributions, and highlighted the work by her agency in serving more than 25,000 senior citizens in the local area last year. Now in its 25th year, the tournament has raised almost $500,000 for The Senior Source.
