Speaker:
Dr. Lucy Wallace is a board-certified general surgeon who specializes in breast surgical oncology. She practiced general surgery, with a special interest in endocrine and breast surgery, for five years before deciding to commit her practice entirely to breast care. She has been exclusively performing breast surgery since 2016.
Dr. Wallace utilizes advanced surgical techniques, including nipple-sparing and hidden scar procedures, with close attention to both oncologic and cosmetic outcomes. She provides in-office ultrasound-guided biopsy and aspiration procedures, when indicated. Dr. Wallace believes in partnering with each patient and member of the care team to provide a comprehensive yet personalized breast care approach.
Dr. Wallace has a very personal commitment to caring for breast patients, as both her mother and grandmother were affected by breast cancer. In addition to performing surgery for malignant and benign diseases of the breast, she has a particular interest in counseling those who are high-risk for developing breast cancer based on family history or genetic conditions.
