If you made a contribution in 2015 to either an education or arts and cultural organization, the deadline to get the TI Foundation match for that donation is January 31st.
Also, if you volunteered for a nonprofit agency, the deadline is the same to submit hours for the Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP).
To request your dollar-for-dollar match or VIP grant, click here. After gifts and volunteer hours are registered online, the receiving organization must confirm the donation and or volunteer hours by February 29th.
The Matching Gifts Program doubles your donations to your favorite school, college or university (pre-K to university), or to a museum, library, symphony, public television or radio station, or other eligible education or arts and culture organizations.
You can also maximize 10 or more hours of your volunteer time. An eligible nonprofit group will receive $125 (plus $12.50 for every hour over 10), up to a maximum of $1,000 for 80 hours per year per TI employee or retiree.
