Granbury, Texas – Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and friend, Mary Linda Pearson Lillard from Granbury, Texas went to be with the Lord on June 14, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Norris Lillard, her parents Gwendolyn McCuller and Burl Tom Pearson, and stepmother Martha Fulp Pearson, and sister Reda Carol Pearson. She is survived by her son John Glenn Fields and daughter-in-law Twyla Hays Fields of Tyler, and her daughter Angela Dee Fields and son-in-law Kevin Finley Kolbye of Fort Worth; a sister Suzanne Campbell of Needville, and brother Thomas Brent Pearson of Houston; grandchildren, Justin Glenn Fields of Austin, Jonathan Chase Fields of Tyler, Christopher Elliot Knight and Alexander Jernigan Knight both of Fort Worth, Tami Maelene McCommas and husband Jasen Thomas McCommas; great grandchildren Hanna Maree McCommas and Kara Grace McCommas of Troup. In 1998, Linda retired from Texas Instruments after 36 years as a Financial Planner. After retirement, Linda volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Hospice and regularly played the piano for The Oaks of Granbury, an assisted living facility. She became a Master Gardner in 2003 and was a member of the Granbury Gardner’s Club. Join us for Linda’s Celebration of Life Luncheon on Monday, July 5th at Noon, located at 3105 Rim Rock Court, Granbury, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations can be made to Granbury Master Gardner’s, Granbury Friends for Animals or the SPCA.
