To provide communications, programs, services and activities of interest to TI retirees and former TIers around the world.

Join TI’s virtual ‘Week of Impact’ and make a difference this holiday season

TI’s annual “Giving Tuesday” volunteer event will be a bit different this year because of the ongoing public health crisis. Instead of our tradition of North Texas TIers and retirees delivering meals to the elderly and homebound in Dallas and Collin counties, we will offer a menu of virtual volunteer options across nonprofit partners that serve the most at risk – the elderly, the homebound, those who are suffering from hunger, families who are experiencing economic hardships, and LGBTQ youth.

We will also honor teachers – everyday superheroes who are doing everything they can to ensure kids are learning, even in difficult environments. And instead of only one day of service, we will extend it to a full Week of Impact – Nov. 30-Dec. 4.

What isn’t changing, however, is our volunteer mission to build strong communities. In fact, the philanthropic spirit of TIers and TI retirees is needed now more than ever − COVID-19 has exacerbated long-standing disparities among our most marginalized neighbors in North Texas, for whom hunger, job loss, mental health issues, and lack of health care are now magnified.
