David Reid is an adjunct lecturer in Accounting at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas.  David retired from Texas Instruments Incorporated in 2014 after 26 years, where he served 12 years as TI’s Vice President and Director of Ethics.  Mr. Reid held positions outside Texas Instruments from 1983 through 1993 that included managing a small accounting firm and serving as Vice President and manager for Executive Information Systems at Michigan National Bank (MNB) in Farmington Hills, Michigan.  (MNB was subsequently acquired by Bank of America.) 

David received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in behavioral management from the University of Texas at Dallas.  

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and served as chair of The Conference Board’s Global Council on Business Conduct from 2009-2011.
