Solar energy is now the cheapest source of electricity. Solar photovoltaic (PV) panels can be added to most homes to partially or fully offset energy charges from your utility. Solar PV is also eligible for a 30% federal income tax credit. 

Paul Westbrook built a passive solar house in 1996 and added solar PV in 2012. He has enjoyed no energy bills for several years. Paul will cover the basics of solar electricity, talk about how to properly size a system, and discuss how to find a good installer and energy contract.
